Books We Read in June - July 2011

We are on book four of Boxcar Children Mysteries

The kids really like the tales of these wholesome children and the mysteries they solve.  The books are page turners even as I sometimes cringe while reading some of the "perfectness" these children display.  I can only hope that some of it rubs off on my kids.  This kids can do anything and what is not to like about that.

The Boxcar Children Books 1-4

My husband got to enjoy these wacky tales of Wayside school.  He read all three to our children, as he progress through the series he began to enjoy it more and more.  This might be put in the category of twaddle but our kids loved it.

Wayside School Boxed Set: Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger, Wayside School is Falling Down, Sideway Stories from Wayside School

My husband is also reading this to our Son as their morning devotional.   The further into the book they are getting the more and more my husband and son are enjoying it.

Herein Is Love, Vol. 1: Genesis

There are three more in this series:

Herein Is Love, Vol. 2: Exodus

Herein Is Love, Vol. 3: Leviticus
