Follow My Leader
- about a boy who becomes blind in a firework accident. About adapting, forgiving and thriving with a disability. My children loved it! They really felt for the boy Jimmy when he became blind and it was interesting to see how real their empathy for him was.
Little House on Rocky Ridge
- about Laura Ingalls Wilder's daughter Rose and their move from South Dakota to Missouri. Which was neat for our family since my husband is from MO but our home in the States is in SD. 
Ginger Pye (Young Classic)
- A fun story about a family and a dog. We are not actually done with this book yet but started it in March.
